I finished my primary and secondary school in Maribor. I graduated as a film director at Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. During my studies I started working as an assistant director in several films produced in Viba film studio. Since 1981 I have directed several documentaries. For seven years I was employed as a member of a journalistic orchestra in the Slovenian National Television documentary editorship. Since 1992 I have worked as a freelancing artist. My work comprises various genres, mostly in documentary, feuilleton, commentary or essayist manners. The duration of my films is from three and up to fifty minutes. The number of headlines in my authorship exceeds two hundred units.
